The R.U.O.K. (“Are You Ok?”) program is sponsored by your Sun City West Sheriff’s Posse, in conjunction with the Maricopa county Sheriff’s Office at no cost to you.
Question: What Is The “Are You Ok” Program ?
Answer: To insure your well being. A computer program has been set up to place a phone call to you everyday. The phone call is placed to you at the time of day that you request. If you are injured or ill and do not answer your phone , the computer will automatically dispatch a Sheriff’s Deputy or a Sun City West Posse Member to check on your welfare and medical assistance will be dispatched immediately if needed.
Question: Can you or a friend use this service and join the R.U.O.K. program?
Answer: Yes, If you live alone or have medical problems, then you may want to use this program. Think about the peace of mind you will achieve from knowing that someone will be checking on you everyday. It’s easy to enroll just call (623-584-5808).
How To Enroll In The R.U.O.K Program
Call the Sun City West Posse at (623) 584-5808 and a message will be left with the R.U.O.K. coordinator.The Coordinator will call you and set up an appointment to fill out an application.
The application consists of the necessary information for the program to work: Your Name, Phone Number, Emergency Contacts, Doctor, Clergy Contacts and Physical Impairments. Naturally, this information is not given out to anyone and is used for the express purpose of the R.U.O.K. Program.
